After being constricted to shooting inside dark dungy for almost two months covering college and high school basketball it was time to get out side in the nice weather (well kind of nice) and shoot some baseball.
I head over to Perrysburg High School to shoot the varsity baseball game. My original plan was to do a remote some were but I got there a little late and there wasn’t a really good spot to put it because most high school fields suck with shooting positions.

Today (Saturday) I traveled with the team up to Ypsilanti, Michigan to shoot the game against Eastern Michigan and boy was I in for a wet and wild ride! The first mistake I made was wearing jeans and not bringing another tshirt. Our equipment guy gave me a Under Armour rain pants which kept my pants nice and dry but I was now sweating my ass off and when I took the rain pants off you could see all the sweat around my boxers and it was miserable ride home.
After a wet and wild ride in Ypsilanti, Michigan today I am going to keep this post short and sweet. Another typical Friday, I wake up at 5:30 am to go lift weights for football. Then back to bed where I catch up on my podcasts and TV shows I missed. Then around 1 pm I got a text from my boss telling me what game I would be covering and what time it started. I wasn’t really excited about this game because A) It was pouring down rain and B) I had a killer headache and couldn’t focus longer then 10 minutes at a time. I toughed it out in the rain for most of the game I got one decent action shot (see above) and a few semi decent shots then I was back to the office and get dry because I can’t stand being wet. After a quick edit I was in an out and off to bed.
