The #16 Ohio State Buckeyes were in town so I couldn’t pass down the opportunity. Little did I know would this be the best two days of shooting hockey that I have ever had! I covered #1 Notre Dame a few weeks ago and nothing compared to the big hitting Buckeyes of the Big Ten.
I got to the the arena pretty early because I wanted to set up a remote but I forgot my cable from the pocket wizards to the camera. Go figure! I guess next time I should check my bag before I head to a shoot next time.

I started off the day by sleeping in to around noon. I hate a late breakfast did some work on some school work then I started to get ready to head 15 miles down to Bowling Green to shoot Bowling Green Falcon Hockey vs. Northern Michigan. As I got all of my gear packed up and headed out to my car I had no idea it snowed. Here is a little fun pic of me.
Last Saturday was extremely busy day for me shooting wise. I had to shoot a Veterans Day Ceremony a portrait and two baskeball games. It made for a very interesting day. I shot the first two assignments then headed over to Anderson Arena to shoot some exhibition college basketball. Its been over a year since I had shot basketball so It was defiantly to a while to get back into the swing of things.
I can’t believe college hockey season is starting already. The college football season isn’t even half over and there playing hockey like its 35 degrees and snow on the ground (not looking forward to that). I made the best of the game. Have a D3 makes shooting hockey so much fun. Crank it up to ISO 4000 and your ready to roll.
