About two weeks ago after I covered my last high school basketball game I thought basketball season was over. But little to he hold the Bowling Green Falcons got a first round bye in the Womens National Invitational Tournament and would host Syracuse at home. This being one of very few tournaments held at Anderson Arena it turned out to be a very exciting game.

Best two hockey games of my career so far!
January 11, 2009 · 1 Comment
The #16 Ohio State Buckeyes were in town so I couldn’t pass down the opportunity. Little did I know would this be the best two days of shooting hockey that I have ever had! I covered #1 Notre Dame a few weeks ago and nothing compared to the big hitting Buckeyes of the Big Ten.
I got to the the arena pretty early because I wanted to set up a remote but I forgot my cable from the pocket wizards to the camera. Go figure! I guess next time I should check my bag before I head to a shoot next time.

Basketball season is half way over!

Finally, basketball season is half way over! I am starting to get burned out with basketball because everything is starting to look the same and I have shot the same feature photos about ten times now. I have shot all levels of basketball, from NBA to JV. Having covered such a variety of competition levels, I have seen some crazy dunks to turnover every time a player gets the ball.

Tonight was the first home game for the Bowling Green Falcons vs. Wright State and it was an extremly slow passed game atleast I thought. Its going to take me a while to get back into the swing of things as far shooting basketball and start to thing outside of the box and get creative shots during this winter.

As I got all of my gear packed up and headed out to my car I had no idea it snowed. Here is a little fun pic of me.

I can’t believe college hockey season is starting already. The college football season isn’t even half over and there playing hockey like its 35 degrees and snow on the ground (not looking forward to that). I made the best of the game. Have a D3 makes shooting hockey so much fun. Crank it up to ISO 4000 and your ready to roll.

Minnesota vs. Bowling Green

After a week of not shooting anything it was time to get back to work. I covered the Minnesota Golden Gophers vs. Bowling Green Falcons in Bowling Green. This is the first time in history that a Big Ten school has traveled to a Mid American Conference school, usually its the other way around. The MAC schools usually want to travel to the Big Ten schools so they can get their we beat your ass money, but I am not sure how this one was worked out.
